 Artist Statement:
As an artist and designer, I am driven by the power of transformation. Whether I am working on a large-scale painting, designing a piece of clothing, or styling an interior, my goal is to create something that transcends its original form and tells a new story. My work is a fusion of bold colors, dynamic brushstrokes, and abstract forms, all of which come together to evoke emotion and challenge perception. In my paintings, I explore the tension between figuration and abstraction, allowing the two to coexist in a vibrant dialogue. This interplay reflects the complexity of the human experience—at once chaotic and harmonious, familiar yet abstract. My design practice, especially through 80 By Design, extends this exploration into the physical space, where I upcycle materials and reimagine them as part of a cohesive aesthetic narrative. One of my proudest achievements is the creation of an interior design firm that serves as a canvas for my artistic vision. Through this venture, I have been able to merge my passion for art and design, using my work to stage and style interiors in a way that feels both innovative and deeply personal. For me, art is not just something to be admired on a wall—it is a living, breathing element that can transform spaces and inspire those who inhabit them.
