Live music, food, drinks at Bridgeport’s latest music venue! Park City Music Hall began its life as The Acoustic Cafe in 1999. Over the following decades, The Acoustic became a wellspring of legendary musical performance and birthed the modern Bridgeport music scene. Park City Music Hall intends to carry that mantle well into the future. Improvements now underway include a more than 500 square foot expansion, a redesigned building facade with overhead garage doors, a new state of the art sound system from L-Acoustics, a new kitchen, new bathrooms, expanded green room, and an oversized bar capable of servicing the venue’s new capacity of 300. Lost Tribe starts the night of music at 5 pm, Pangea at 6:30 pm
Pangea is a visionary, genre-bending ensemble based out of the Nest Arts Factory in Bridgeport, CT. Conceived by Kris Studebaker and Nicholas Yost, Pangea boldly explores the boundaries of music, blending diverse global influences into a captivating, body-enveloping groove. As an ensemble, Pangea paints enigmatic psychedelic strokes over a cosmic backdrop of modern and ancient rhythms, creating a colorful, perpetually-kinetic sonic spiral.
Lost Tribe An Afro-funk fusion ensemble, led by multi-percussionist Jocelyn Pleasant. Their sound winds through many genres that are rooted in West African rhythms and sensibilities; blending tradition with innovation and keeping the DRUM at the forefront.
