Mural Apprenticeship Application
The Bridgeport Art Trail partners with the City of Bridgeport to launch a mural apprenticeship program, with sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Bridgeport. The deadline to apply is April 19. However, it is strongly suggested that apprenticeship applicants apply to this email beforehand to be sure your application is fully submitted on time; in case you have questions or challenges to complete this application. The City of Bridgeport also requires that applicants complete a survey at https://engage.bridgeportct.gov/public-art?tool=survey_tool#tool_tab to complete the survey, applicants need to create an account. This is a general survey for lead mural artists and apprentices.
MURAL ACADEMY APPRENTICE
Candidates for this project, ages 18 and over will be expected to commit up to 10 -14 consecutive days as paid interns.

Statement of Project Interest: Provide a brief description of your interest in participating in this program. Comments can include why you want to participate in this project, how will this experience impact on your arts skills, creative process, expression and career? Why do you want to participate in the public arts? Why do you want to be a part of the Bridgeport community, what does it mean to share your art with the public, how you believe your work aligns with the goal of this project, and what unique perspective or contribution you believe your artwork will bring the project and the neighborhood? -

Per image include size, media, titles as well as links to website, social media, contact info legal name, email, phone. Provide up to 2 references, name and contact info (phone and or email). References can include arts instructors, employers, and fellow art colleagues.
