The Kennedy Collective Maggie Daly Arts Cooperative (MDAC), founded in 2014, continues to be a magical and unique space adding to the cultural fabric of Bridgeport. Located in the former Read’s department store building, MDAC artists with intellectual disabilities have made connections with neighbors, businesses, universities, museums, and art councils forming innovative partnerships to celebrate the universal language of art. At MDAC, opportunities abound for artists to experience varied media and approaches to artmaking.
