Two stunning exhibits worth confronting the cold are on view at City Lights Gallery and Ursa Gallery/Coffee Roasters café in downtown Bridgeport through mid-March 2026. Both exhibits explore context and counterpoint, presenting two iconic artists of the regional art scene and beyond, known for recognizable imagery, unique form and persona, Iyaba Ibo Mandingo and Frank Foster Post.

City Lights Gallery at 265 Golden Hill St, downtown Bridgeport kicks off the new year with a solo exhibit of New Works by Iyaba Ibo Mandingo Regular gallery hours are Wednesday – Friday 12-5, Saturday 12-4. The exhibit runs until March 7, 2026.

Simply put, the artists’ practice and amount of work produced by Iyaba Ibo Mandingo are amazing! This includes quantity, quality and innovation. A concurrent opening for “In Dialogue” will take place with more work by Iyaba and fellow Bridgeport creative Frank Post the same day, January 31st, at URSA Coffee Roasters & Gallery, 245 Fairfield Ave, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Read more about “In Dialogue” here.
