Get your ticket to adventure! Connecticut’s only zoo, celebrating its 104th year, features 350 animals representing primarily North and South American and Northern Asian species. Guests won’t want to miss our Amur tiger and leopards, maned wolves, Mexican gray wolves, and red wolves. Other highlights include our new Andean Bear Habitat, Spider Monkey Habitat, the Rainforest Building, the prairie dog exhibit, and the Pampas Plain with Giant anteaters and Chacoan peccaries. Guests can ride on the carousel, grab a bite from the Peacock Café and eat in the Picnic Grove. GLOW Wild invites guests to stroll through glowing pathways surrounded by brilliant displays of animals, nature, and vibrant colors. Journey through a breathtaking wonderland of illuminated larger-than-life lanterns! This unforgettable nighttime experience features more than 40 spectacular displays and hundreds of new handcrafted illuminated lanterns and interactive experiences inspired by wildlife around the world, transforming Beardsley Zoo into one of the region's premier fall attractions. Whether it's a family tradition, date night, or an evening with friends or coworkers, GLOW Wild offers an experience that appeals to guests of all ages. On display Thursdays-Sundays through December 20th.
